Leasehold Property
Our leasehold retirement schemes provide accommodation for sale on a leasehold basis for older people. RSMHA retains the position as freeholder with the responsibility for maintaining common areas and services in accordance with the terms of the lease.
.
Residents are required to contribute towards a service charge which pays for the day-to-day running and management costs of the scheme, as well as for any major repairs needed from time to time.
RSMHA is required to ensure that we consult with residents about the level of service charge and about any major repairs or certain long-term contracts that we enter in to.
