Resident satisfaction results (STATUS)
A huge thank you to every resident, be they renting or owners, who took the time to complete a resident satisfaction survey (STATUS) form telling us how well you rate the services and homes provided by RSMHA.
Approximately 60% returned a form and we’ve now received the final results from the independent firm that carried out the survey for us:
- 90% of tenants and 78% of homeowners are satisfied with our services
- 94% of all residents are satisfied with the quality of their home
- 91% of tenants and 57% of homeowners are satisfied with our repairs and maintenance service
- 90% of tenants think the rent we charge is good value for money
- 89% of tenants and 65% of homeowners find our staff helpful
- 88% of tenants and 69% of homeowners think we keep residents informed
- 77% of tenants and 60% of homeowners think we take residents’ views into account
We're delighted with these results which are an improvement on our last survey in 2006 and better than those achieved nationally by most other housing associations in the country. We feel that they’re a reflection of the tremendous work done by staff and residents working together to get things right.
We recognise however that there is still room for improvement and we remain committed to working in partnership with residents to deliver the range and quality of services that you expect. RSMHA is now looking in detail at those areas of service that scored less well in the survey to see what changes need to be made and we will consult further with residents on this in due course.
